Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, a pharmaceutical company known for Juvederm fillers, has designed this new dermal filler. It contains hyaluronic acid (like fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane) and calcium hydroxyapatite crystals (similar to the well-known Radiesse filler). This combination results in HA (hyaluronan) at the beginning and CA (calcium) at the end of the name of this innovative and unique filler. Both ingredients are naturally present in our skin and bones and are biocompatible.

Unlike most other fillers, this filler achieves instant lifting and facial filling results through hyaluronic acid, while the calcium hydroxyapatite crystals, which act as bio-stimulators of collagen production, deliver optimal results after 3 months. A comparative advantage of this filler over the otherwise excellent Sculptra and Radiesse is that it achieves both long-term and immediate results.

The combined action of these two ingredients produces unique results in improving volume, facial lifting, and results in firm skin tone, as well as youthful and radiant skin.

How Does the Treatment Look?

The treatment lasts only 10 minutes, utilizing a cannula, and focuses on the lateral parts of the face to achieve skin rejuvenation and facial lifting. The procedure is painless, with minimal side effects, allowing the patient to resume their daily activities immediately after the treatment.

What Kind of Results Can Be Expected?

As this filler does not use large quantities of hyaluronic acid, and biostimulation is a significant component, the results are natural, providing a rejuvenated and lifted appearance to the face.
