How does CoolSculpting work?

How is the CoolSculpting treatment done?

Gel is applied to the area that is being treated. It serves as an obstacle, that is, protection between your body and the device that freezes the fat cells with the help of an applicator. At the start of the treatment the patient may feel a vacuuming sensation, mild pinching or burning and, of course, cooling.

Soon after, the patient feels nearly nothing and, during the treatment, he/she can read, talk on the phone or answer messages. Once the applicator is removed, the trained medical team massages the treated area in order to additionally break up the fat deposits and increase the impact of the treatment.
